Q. Which airport do we fly to?
A. Port Elizabeth.
Q. Are the dates of the surf camps fixed or flexible?
A. The camps are flexible. So if you have booked and payed for a camp but want to change the dates just let us know and we can help find the best date that suits you.
Q. Can we extend our stay?
A. Yes you can for sure! Nothing wrong with an extended stay in South Africa!!
Q. How do we get from Port Elizabeth to Jeffreys Bay?
A. your package includes airport pick up and drop off so just send us your flight details and we can arrange transport.
Q. Isn’t Jeffreys Bay a surf spot only for advanced surfers?
A. No. JBay has so much variety. It is a 5 km long stretch of coastline which offers a range of waves from beginner, green wave surfers, intermediate and advanced surfers. We have about 11 different surf spots in the bay.
Q. What about sharks??
A. Just pray! Haha, this is a funny question. Here are some stats: JBay has only had 3 shark attacks in ht e last 50 years or so, of which only one was
fatal. The sharky season is from June- August. Any month outside of that is very chilled.
Q. Should I bring my own surfboard and wetsuit?
A. We provide equipment for beginners and green wave surfers. If you have your own equipment you’re more than welcome to bring. Boards and suits are also very cheap in South Africa so you could even buy all your surf equipment on arrival. We can assist with this.
Q. How warm is the water?
A. Summer ranges from 19-24 degrees celcius. Winter is between 1
4- 18 degrees celcius.
